About me
I’m Jeff. Like you, I chose music at age 11 in awe of a pixelated picture of Kurt Cobain taped to my friend’s knock off Strat. I learned metal first to “get chicks” (Really it was to 1-up the kid from School of Rock. In retrospect, it wouldn’t have taken much). Trivium inspired my songwriting. Genetic predilection to addiction inspired my premature guitar teaching.
I led every singing or theatrical extracurricular in my small town as a teen. My songwriting shifted to pop punk and I started leading bands poorly, writing way beyond my playing ability. Going emo for university made open mics easier.
That’s when I started writing, recording and producing 10 songs each February for the RPM challenge. While creating my best RPM effort in 2019 I became a music marketing machine to get it the attention it deserved.
My Gary Vee scented canvasing worked and I became more confident as a musician.
Embracing my identity this way helped me quit drinking and crave gratifying creative experiences instead.
Right now I happily experiment with finding an efficient and sustainable foundation for the music career that I know will span the rest of my life.
I use my platform for mental health activism and to show others that it is good to embrace your purpose.
Success for me is having a timeless, exciting and inspiring catalogue created through my mastery of music and its many facets.
